Machine Washing and Drying the Tifa Cowgirl Swimsuit

The Tifa Cowgirl swimsuit was test machine washed and dried: 

    Machine: Top loading washer.
    Temperature: Cold water.
    Cleanser: Regular Detergent.
    Dryer: Regular dryer with normal settings + dryer sheet.

• Results of machine washing only: I measured the swimsuit then added it to a cold water wash with regular detergent. After the cycle I re-measured and the measurements were the same. The fabric was also the same.
• Results of machine drying: Swimsuits are usually not recommended to go into the dryer as heat can damage elastic. After the dry cycle, the measurements remained the same except for the top's back straps which shrunk by 0.5inch. The fabric was fine.

Overall the cowgirl swimsuit can be machine washed, and monitored if machine dried. Please remember that subsequent machine drying can affect the elastic over time.
