July 10, 2014
Another year of Anime Expo! The convention was held in the Los Angeles Convention Center over July 4th weekend (July 3rd - 6th). This year's big anime series were Sailor Moon, Kill la Kill, and Sword Art Online 2 with many guests from their respective series attended. Mega Man and Mighty No. 9's Keiji Inafune was also there.
Perhaps it was the combination of guests and events, this year was packed! There were crowds everywhere and lines forming around corners for badges and events. Anime Expo had even reached their maximum capacity and had to close registration.
Kill la Kill's singer Eir Aoi's booth was actually placed next to SixOn Clothing. She was there on Saturday taking pictures with fans:
The Sailor Senshi hoodies made its first at-con appearance at this year's Anime Expo and many attendees loved it, even guys bought it for themselves! The staff and attendees were wonderful, everyone was very friendly and polite.
Upon leaving the convention center there were artwork on buildings of Batman: Arkam Knight and Mortal Kombat, possible left from E3.
Overall this year was fun (just a bit crowded). We'll see everyone next year Anime Expo 2015!
