New! Rebel Aerith Sailor Collar Sweater

The delinquent Aerith version of the sailor sweater is now available! Like her school uniform in the FFEC Academy game, the casual cosplay sweater is black with light gray, has a chest pocket and detachable plush bow, and has the flower insignia on the left sleeve. 

The fabric has a more smooth texture compared to the ribbed white and blue version. This makes it a slightly heavier than the other one, making it more suitable for colder weather. I didn't want the flower on the sleeve to sit on top like it was painted or appliqued on, and had it knitted right into the sweater. It's far more durable and won't wash off with many wears and washes.

I thought for a while to add two pockets like her uniform, but it ended up being too bulky for a knit sweater. One chest pocket was added, and the zipper pull that was used looked closest to the one seen in the pics. The front zipper uses the same zipper pull.

Aerith as a delinquent was an interesting change in FFVII EC Academy. Even though it was an initial April Fools joke, her seemingly wildly different high school counterpart still appears to parallel to her FF7 self. In FF7, despite her bubbly personality, she's much deeper and conflicted with her feelings and Cetra responsibities. In comparision with EC Academy, she puts up a tough girl act, shown only to have a hidden, gentle side that wants to tend to her secret flower garden. The others seem to stay true to their original personas: Zack, confident; Cloud, wanting to prove himself; Tifa, wanting to ensure others are fine; and Barret, um..gotta play ball. :D
